Volunteers Needed for the Minnesota State Florists Association (MNSFA) Convention!

Ardith and Tiffany,

As you most likely know, we need volunteers for the Convention which is on Saturday and Sunday, November 7 & 8, 2009. Working for the association would be a great experience and resume builder. In exchange for volunteering, MNSFA would waive their lunch/entrance fee. ($20 per person) and the Kick Off Reception ($10.00). I would also include a reference letter for each after the convention for their resume and portfolio.

I could not waive the competition fee of course, that would make it unfair for others.

This is the estimated numbers and positions needed:

Saturday
1 assistant for Teleflora Designer--- 10AM to 3 PM
1 assistant for FTD designer 10 AM to 3 PM
2 assistants for Richard Milteer Setting up Stage (Guessing 12 PM to 3 PM)
1 assistant for Kym Setting up Convention, Vendor etc 10 AM to 3 PM
2 assistants for decorations (will be making arrangements) 10 AM to 3PM

Sunday
1 assistant for Teleflora Designer 8 AM -- ? intermitently through the day
1 assistant for FTD designer 8 AM -- ? intermitently through the day
4 assistants for Richard Milteer – Stage and Arrangement running ? intermitently through the day
1 assistant for Kym Setting up Convention, Vendor, Decorations etc
8 AM -- ? intermitently through the day
1 assistants for Registration and Competition Set up. 7:30 AM to 10 AM
1 assistant for DOY the Year Set up and Scoring (Dan Kotecki) 2 PM to 5 PM
